Emil Koch Elektrotechnik GmbH receives contract for the Bad Godesberg road tunnel

Emil Koch Elektrotechnik GmbH has received another contract in the field of safety-critical transport infrastructure. As part of the third construction phase of the modernization of the B9 road tunnel in Bonn-Bad Godesberg, the company will undertake extensive work to renew the tunnel lighting and video technology.

The project focuses on the installation of new LED lighting to increase energy efficiency and safety, as well as the complete renewal of the camera system for improved monitoring and control of tunnel operations. Both aspects, including planning, integration into the existing control and monitoring technology, and commissioning, will be implemented by Emil Koch Elektrotechnik.

The work is being carried out in close coordination with the city of Bonn and the project partners involved. The aim is to bring the tunnel's technical equipment up to the latest state of the art and to ensure safe and reliable use in the long term.
