Further order for the renewal of tunnel lighting at Cologne/Bonn Airport
Emil Koch Elektrotechnik GmbH has been awarded another contract in the field of safety-critical infrastructure. At Cologne/Bonn Airport, the company will be responsible for renewing the tunnel lighting in the TWY-B area, thereby contributing to the modernization of the airport's technical infrastructure.
The project focuses on installing a modern, energy-efficient lighting solution that meets both current technical requirements and the high safety standards in air traffic. In addition to implementing the new lighting technology, the contract also includes integration into existing systems and professional commissioning.
The work will be carried out under special operational conditions, as airport operations must not be affected. Accordingly, precise planning and close coordination with Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH are required.
The aim of the project is to sustainably modernize the lighting infrastructure, increase operational safety, and at the same time improve energy efficiency.
